Advent Prayer & Conversations
The season of Advent is marked by hope, expectation, and the sense that we live in a world filled with longing. Join Rev. April on Monday evenings (December 4, 11 and 17) during the Season of Advent for evening prayer, conversation and fellowship. We will begin at 7pm with a short prayer service, followed by conversation on Kate Bowler's devotional, Bless the Advent we Actually Have. These Monday night gatherings will be a time for quiet fellowship and connection in this busy season in which it is all too easy to forget what we are actually waiting for. Participants are encouraged to bring a snack to share and/or a craft to work on during our conversation, but it's fine to also simply bring yourself. Download the devotion here and we will have a few print copies available at church on Sunday.
Priestly Ordination of Rev. Zac Settle
Join us on Saturday December 16 for the priestly ordination of Rev. Dr. Zachary Settle. The event will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, and a reception will follow the ordination.
